The Resistance: Avalon pits the forces of Good and Evil in a battle to control the future of civilization. Arthur represents the future of Britain, a promise of prosperity and honor, yet hidden among his brave warriors are Mordred's unscrupulous minions. These forces of evil are few in number but have knowledge of each other and remain hidden from all but one of Arthur's servants. Merlin alone knows the agents of evil, but he must speak of this only in riddles. If his true identity is discovered, all will be lost.

The Resistance: Avalon is a standalone game, and while The Resistance is not required to play, the games are compatible and can be combined.

Highly recommended social game Review by Maddi
A fun little game that requires no set up. It's easy to learn and a great way to introduce your friends to table top gaming. See if you can keep a straight face as you try to convince people on your alliance. Rounds generally don't take too long. Serves as a good time filler. (Posted on 4/02/2016)
A social game of deduction and deception Review by Tom
A game of two teams trying to work together against each other. The baddies are outnumbered but know who the other baddies are. The goodies (with one exception) don't know who are on their side.

This leads to some great bluffing, deduction and social interaction. Accusations abound as both sides try to get their players on to the missions to complete or sabotage them. Plays very differently depending on the group of people played with.

This version of the Resistance comes with some cards that can be used to scale the difficulty in either direction if once side has an advantage in a particular group. Can also be used to add complexity if desired.

Nice artwork and theme, just be sure to sleeve the cards so they don't get marked (which could give away who your character is).

Plays with 5+ (not 6+ as the game listing indicates). (Posted on 31/05/2015)
Great game for groups! Review by RodeoClown
A fantastic game of bluffing and deduction for up to 10 people. Each round takes ~20 minutes.

Only the bad guys know who each other are, and they working to stop the knights of the round table from completing quests. We've had a great time playing with several different groups, including some with self-confessed "non-gamers".

Highly recommended! (Posted on 28/05/2015)
