All of the eligible young men (and many of the not-so-young) seek to woo the princess of Tempest. Unfortunately, she has locked herself in the palace, and you must rely on others to take your romantic letters to her. Will yours reach her first?

Love Letter is a game of risk, deduction, and luck for 2–4 players. Your goal is to get your love letter into Princess Annette's hands while deflecting the letters from competing suitors. From a deck with only sixteen cards, each player starts with only one card in hand; one card is removed from play. On a turn, you draw one card, and play one card, trying to expose others and knock them from the game. Powerful cards lead to early gains, but make you a target. Rely on weaker cards for too long, however, and your letter may be tossed in the fire!

A lovely little card game Review by Tom
In Love Letter, players are suitors seeking to win the attentions of a beautiful princess. So begins a game of deduction and bluff as players try to get their letter into the hands of the princess through various agents at the palace and to foil their opponents’ plans.

Love Letter is a really fun game that plays quickly with minimum downtime between turns. It involves a mixture of deduction, bluffing, and luck – with plenty of excitement along the way. Sometimes the cards will conspire against players, but such is the life of those trying to woo a princess.

The game plays differently with two players than with 3 or 4, and the combinations that work great in a two player game can be troublesome when there are more players in the mix.

While there aren’t many components in this game, there is a ton of replayability. The rules are simple to learn but there are additional layers to the game that reveal themselves over a number of plays. This game is excellent value given how inexpensive it is. (Posted on 1/06/2015)
First Love Review by Gobo
This game was our family's first experience of modern games, and we quickly fell in love with this simple card game of bluffing, deduction and hand management.
Draw a card, play a card - so simple, yet the real fun begins after everyone knows the cards and their interplay so well that it becomes more a game of reading people than card-counting. The rounds are so quick that player elimination is easily mitigated, and I find it best with 4 players. (Posted on 28/05/2015)
Finally a card game I can play with my Mother in Law Review by Angus
I picked up a copy of this game after hearing many great things about it and now it lives in my workbag, because you never know when you need to bust out this gem.

With a delightly simple yet effective gameplay, it has been enjoyed by my hardcore tabletop gamer friends and family members alike. I even took it to my mother-in-law's house by chance and ended up playing for over an hour.
