Genestealers have infested a remote Space Hulk called Sin of Damnation and a small squad of Space Marines have been sent to purge this alien threat. The odds are overwhelming and survival is unlikely. It is a bleak undertaking.
Enter the Blood Angels.

Space Hulk: Death Angel - The Card Game is a cooperative card game for 1-6 players. Set in the grim Warhammer 40,000 universe, Death Angel pits a squad of Blood Angel Space Marines against a growing alien horde. It will take strategic teamwork to make it out alive.

Pick your combat group, fall into formation, and prepare for the Genestealer swarms!

Challenging, exciting game, shame about the rule book Review by Happy Gamer
Death Angel provides a surprising amount of theme in a simple card game. It sees your group of Space Marines exploring a seemingly empty derelict ship. Soon enough, you're faced with swarms of Genestealers. You must do your best to clear each location as your battle brothers fall, one by one, to the Genestealer threat.

The card art is fantastic and really captures the gritty Warhammer 40K universe. The only downside is the poorly written rule book. It takes a couple of play throughs to fully grasp the game. Even better, get a hold of the rules summary from the Esoteric Order of Gamers website.

Don't let the rule book deter you from playing this game though. Once learned, Death Angel provides a fun, challenging experience for 1 player or more. It also comes in a pretty compact box and is small enough to take with you when you are travelling.

I've played this game many times now, I've even won a game or two. Each time plays differently to the next and there are plenty of surprises to be had. (Posted on 30/06/15)
Tense and Exciting Review by James
I have played this games several times solo and 2 player (Yet to play it with a group) and have found the game to be extremely enjoyable.

On the surface it seems like a simple card game, but quickly you will find that the decisions you make are extremely important and any critical mistakes you make will quickly compound finally ending with the aliens brutally pounding you into submission.

The game changes from play to play with the random draws of the cards which helps keep it from going stale. Couple this with being able to modify the difficulty you will find yourself pushing hard for victory.

I look forward to getting the expansions and further increasing the scope of the game.

I highly recommend this game if you like a bit of randomness, team work and an ever increasing sense of impending doom!
