Here we will endeavour to answer the most commonly asked questions we get both here online and in our shop in Canberra.

If the answer you are looking for is not here, please contact us either online or at the shop.

 


 

Q: Why are the prices online different to the prices in the shop?

A: The online store and the Canberra shop are run independently from each other under 'The Games Capital' banner. As a result there are different stock levels and different promotions in each store.

 


Q: Can I pick up my online order in the shop?

A: Yes, just select "Click & Collect" during checkout. Please note that orders will only be availble to pickup after 11am on the following day.

 


Q: Will you match your online prices in the shop?

A: In line with our main aim - to keep all customers happy - we WILL MATCH OUR ONLINE PRICES IN THE SHOP, with the exception of items where the price has been reduced from our regular online prices.

We do however ask all customers to print out what they were looking at buying in the shop as our internet prices do occasionally change - and staff can only match prices that are currently valid.

 


Q: How much does postage in Australia cost?

A: All orders over $100 are shipped FREE!  All orders under $100 will incur a flat rate delivery fee of $8.90 per order.

 


 Q: How much does postage to New Zealand cost?

 A: All orders to New Zeleand will incur a flat rate delivery fee of $20AUD per order.



Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Shipping via our website is currently limited to Australia and New Zealand, however if you would like us to provide you with a shipping quote to an international destination please contact us. This is not always possible, but we will do our best to help.

 


Q: What is your policy on returns and exchanges?

A: The Games Capital will exchange products within 14 days of purchase as long as the product has not been opened and is in its original packaging.

Except where goods are faulty, for Refunds and Exchanges, freight costs, to return the product to us by Courier and/ or to resend the new item back to the customer are covered by the Customer.

Where goods are faulty, all Exchanges and Returns must be received by The Games Capital within 14 Days of dispatch by The Games Capital to be eligible for refund or exchange.

We are not responsible for any returned parcels that are lost so please use a traceable method such as registered post or  courier.

 


Q: What kind of events do you hold in the shop?

A: We hold a range of regular events for many Trading Card games such as Magic: the Gathering, Yu-gi-oh, Vanguard and more.

We also have regular board game days and support or run other events off site.

Q: What are your opening times?

A: Our Canberra Shop is open Monday to Thursday from 10am to 6pm, Friday from 10am to 9pm, Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Q: Can I order a game that is not listed on the website?

A: We have many titles that are not currently listed in our online store that may be available in our Canberra Shop, so please ask and we may be able to supply them.

If they are not currently available we can certainly endeavour to order for you.

Q: Can I use a gift voucher from the Shop in the online store?

A: Our gift vouchers are only for use in our Canberra shop and are not transferrable to our online store.

Also any discount codes for our online store cannot be used in the Canberra shop.

 


 

Q: If I have a membership card to the shop can I use it online?

A: The membership cards are only valid for purchases made in our Canberra shop.
